Broma Bakery’s The BEST cookie ever ✨

Well, best chocolate chip cookie ever - that's for sure.

So I was wondering what I should bake/ cook first for the blog and I think I started OVERthinking it. Instead, I just made what I felt like eating (cookies, always.)

The recipe was easy enough to follow from Sarah's blog Broma Bakery (basically the bible for all things baked).

I did make a teeny weeny adjustment on the chocolate - the recipes calls for 2 cups of dark chocolate, however I did 1 cup of dark & then 1 cup of galaxy milk chocolate because that's just the type of gal I am. Yep. I'm the one who usually prefers the crap chocolate with basically no cocoa in, I'd much rather have the Easter egg than the actual chocolate bar kind of situation (so sue me, we all have flaws).

The longest part of the whole thing was trying to measure everything out in 'cups' (this isn't something done very much in the UK) I'm used to working with grams.. So, when I realised I could convert the recipe to grams half way through - that was fun lol.

They took roughly 11 mins to bake which is swell as they smelt amazing & I couldn't wait to try.

With a sprinkle of salt on top, fresh out the oven, these really are the best choc chip cookies I've tried.

The recipe made 16 cookies - me and my other half have had 2 each (of course) so that's 12 being boxed up and taken to my sisters this weekend!
