First Photography! ft. Social114.

So my first outing was somewhere close to home (today's weather was not the one.)

I attended a masterclass on Food Photography last night, and I was eager to get out today & practice some of the tips I picked up - even if that meant a quick takeaway!

Social 114. is still relatively new in New Brighton. It's minimalist interior is simple and trendy and basically you feel cool & hip when you walk in (even looking like a drowned rat lol). - insta @social114_

I basically went straight to the counter to look for baked goods & I wasn't disappointed.

Cinnabun Cruffin. Need I say more?

Now, obviously if you're one of them weirdos who detests cinnamon.. then this may not be your thing. (I believe there where also chocolate Rolo ones but I missed out on those). It was flaky, golden & delicious with a moreish lemon creamcheese frosting and was the perfect hint of Autumn & dare I say CHRISTMAS?! spice. I also got an Anzac Slice which looks insane! with gooey caramel and dark choc, & a carrot cupcake/muffin!

The lovely lady at the counter told me they always get a mix of different stuff for the sweet counter so that's exciting!

Anyway, as this was more of an opportunity to grab stuff for photography, I will definitely be heading back to dine in & try from their menu soon.

I think the photo's came out great (slightly biased maybe..)
